Catherine Ken, licensed to practice law in both California and Taiwan, has been a lawyer for more than ten years. Immediately after graduation from the National Taiwan University Law School, Ms. Ken passed Taiwan Bar Exam in the top 0.2% in 1986. She started her legal career at 22 at that time the youngest lawyer in Taiwan. After three years of general practice in Taipei, Ms. Ken went to Harvard Law School where she studied Corporate and Business Law with an emphasis on Mergers and Acquisitions and obtained an LL.M. degree in 1991. A member of the California Bar Exam, Ms. Ken is one of very few lawyers trained and licensed to practice law in both the United States and Taiwan.

With the unique background, this Los Angeles based firm is very effective in representing entrepreneurs and new immigrants from Pacific Rim regions specially in areas of business law, tax law, trademark and copyright, estate planning, immigration, and administrative law. Ms. Ken is a member of the Taipei Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association. Ms. Ken co-authored Bank Security and Other Credit Enhancement Methods, Taiwan Chapter published by Kluwer Law International in 1995.
